7 Yarra Apartment Tower Selling
Yates purchased the former Burns Philip Yeast Factory five years ago, and is turning the former hub into “Yarra Lane” – a glossy arcade of contemporary yet affordable luxury apartments, offices and retail spaces.
Construction of the display suite started last month, and is expected to be complete in October. But a month is a long time in South Yarra, and with investors out in force, two thirds of the properties are already gone.
Earlier this year, luxury car dealer Jeff Dutton moved into the immediate vicinity from Richmond, joining restaurateur Mauro Marcucci who opened Café Veloci, to accompany Café e Cucina on Chapel Street.
