Lang Walker Pays $10 Million For Amcor Petrie Paper Mill, Brisbane
Mr Walker is also reported to be the preferred bidder to buy the outgoing Amcor paper mill site, in Melbourne’s inner north-eastern suburb of Alphington, for about $100 million – or about $50 million less than the anticipated price, when the property came onto the market earlier this year.
Development approval for a major housing estate on the Alphington site was fast tracked by Victorian Planning Minister Justin Madden in April.
