Soap star Blair McDonough’s Port Melbourne terrace shoots to $2.96m at auction
Reality TV contestant turned soapie actor, Blair McDonough, scored a major property win last weekend, selling his Port Melbourne terrace at auction for $2.96 million, some $500,000 more than expected.
The contemporary double-storey dwelling – just 300 metres from the beach – includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a study, garage and rooftop deck, capturing skyline vistas of the CBD about five kilometers away.
The 36-year old has enjoyed a steady career in the media since finishing runner-up in Australia’s first Big Brother series in 2001 – appearing in television shows including Neighbours, Winners & Losers and Sea Patrol. At one stage he was dating popular singer Delta Goodrem.
McDonough recently won a guest role playing Alan Ellis in Home & Away, which is filmed in Sydney.
