JBS leases chunk of Brooklyn distribution centre

Also today we are reporting Centennial secured Repco to a Tottenham estate.

JBS Foods has committed to a chunk of Centennial’s Brooklyn Distribution Park, west of Melbourne.

JBS Foods’ Primo arm occupies a Prestons facility owned by Centennial.

The initial lease term for the 8133 square metre warehouse at 600-604 Geelong Road is 10 years.

JBS is a tenant client – occupying a cold storage facility in Sydney’s Prestons purchased by the landlord mid-last year.

The food giant was also an occupier at 600-604 Geelong Rd when Centennial Industrial & Logistics bought it from GM Property Group in April, 2019, for $34.8 million.

Early last year, the asset was rolled into a Brookfield backed Enhanced Value Partnership Fund for $52.6m.

On 7.23 hectares, the estate contains 31,285 sqm in five warehouses developed between the 1960s to the 1990s.

There is 9728 sqm of hardstand in three zones too (story continues below).

Sunbeam to join

Again this month at Brooklyn Industrial Park, Centennial secured Sunbeam Alpine to a 1207 sqm tenancy for five years following a deal brokered by JLL’s Luke Dunstan.

Brooklyn is 13 kilometres west of town.

Also today we are reporting Centennial secured Repco arm GPC to a 4416 sqm tenancy at Tottenham, also west but about four kilometres closer to the CBD. That rental agreement will run an initial five years.

North of town meanwhile, the manager and developer leased 8015 sqm to transport group Centurion, again for five years.
