Australand to Sell Riverfront Site Near Victoria Park Stadium
Colliers International’s Peter Bremner, Jeremy Gruzewski and David Grima are expecting about $7.5 million for Australand’s Trenerry Crescent site.
Elsewhere along the river, a development consortium led by Hamton this week received a permit to develop a $150 million, 586-unit complex on the site of the outgoing Honeywell office building, on the banks of the Yarra River in Victoria Street, Abbotsford.
Hamton has signalled it would like almost a third of the units in the 11-level project to be set aside, as part of the Federal Government’s plan to build 80,000 affordable and social dwellings, nationally, by 2012.
