Ex-AFL star seeks tenants for new office

Ex-Carlton footballer turned property developer Fraser Brown has completed a swank uber-green office in Melbourne’s leafy east.

The Roche Street site (outlined) cost Fraser Brown $9 million in 2017.

The owner of Brown Property Group – which mainly develops low density housing estates – filled half the four storey, 2530 square metre commercial investment, 2-4 Roche Street, Hawthorn, during construction.

Those tenants are now fitting out tenancies.

The balance can be occupied next quarter.

Mr Brown paid $9 million in 2017 for the 1209 sqm Commercial 1 zoned block making way for the project.

The parcel is near an ex-Volvo dealership at Hawthorn East, near Camberwell Junction, which former Collingwood footballer Paul Tuddenham, as part of a consortium, replaced with a major office investment five years ago.

Lemon Baxter’s Josh Tebb is the leasing agent (story continues below).

Ex-Collingwood player Paul Tuddenham co-developed a Hawthorn East office.

2-4 Roche Street

The only new office development in Hawthorn, according to the developer, 2-4 Roche Street contains upper-level private terraces, some capturing postcard city skyline views.

LAWD just sold Brown Property Group the outgoing Cranbourne Golf Course.

A café is on the ground floor. Also with luxury end of trip facilities, the asset is targeting a 4.5-star NABERs rating.

In May we reported BPG outlaid over $150m for the 70.4 hectare outgoing Cranbourne Golf Course, 39 kilometres south east of Melbourne’s CBD.
