Iveco recommits to ex-Metro Tunnel office
Truck giant Iveco, which three years ago ceased manufacturing in Australia – it now imports, mostly from Spain – has renewed its lease at a south east Melbourne business park held by the Centuria managed Industrial REIT (CIP).
The 1887 square metre office/warehouse, Building B, 102-128 Bridge Road, Keysborough, was until a couple of years ago occupied by Rail Systems Alliance, the consortium comprising CPB Contractors, Bombardier Transportation and Metro Trains Melbourne, delivering the Melbourne Metro Tunnel, with 55km of signaling from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham
The Netherlands based truck maker moved in after selling a 12.2ha slice of its nearby ex-Dandenong South manufacturing plant, 1-27 Princes Highway, for $95m.
With 41,915 sqm of improvements, that buyer, a partnership comprising Aliro Group and ISPT, plans to repurpose it as a business park.
Iveco kept a 1.7ha block abutting that property – for an innovation centre (story continues below).
The group also occupies 63 Princes Hwy, in the pocket.
Centuria has an in-house leasing department; Henry Fields and Giovanna Reale look after Keylink, with 24,000 sqm, over 4.7 hectares.
Also today we are reporting the fund manager secured a party supplies chain to a major tenancy at Home Quarter, at Dandenong South, five kilometres south east of Keysborough.
