Logistics giant banks $21m from ex-Sydney base

Baker & Co leased 15 Healey Circuit just after a revamp in 2020.

IMEX Shipping has sold its former west Sydney headquarters to the occupier of five years.

The $21.1 million sale of 15 Healey Circuit, Huntingwood, to Baker & Co Ingredients, was agreed mid-December and settled last month.

JLL’s David Lidgard, Miguel Lee and Marco Chiodo were the agents.

Their deal comes five years since an unsuccessful sales campaign – just after the 3872 square metre improvement was revamped.

On 7892 sqm also facing Ford St, the asset was then leased to Baker & Co – initially for three years – with starting annual rent at $145 per sqm per annum (story continues below).

Huntingwood is about 40 kilometres from the CBD.

Dubai based IMEX Shipping has its Sydney HQ now at Auburn.

Also this month we reported Porter Group paid $5.9m for adjoining Adelaide industrial properties to occupy.
