Melbourne Victory unveils first suburban training campus
Melbourne Victory will develop the first of four metropolitan training facilities at Beveridge, in Melbourne’s north.

The football club will also own, manage and operate the $35 million complex, with a gym, three full sized football pitches (with a show pitch for matches), four synthetic side pitches and a car park.
Expected to open next year (following a community consultation period to start soon), branded ‘Melbourne Victory’s Northern Campus’, it will coincide with the launch of a community football program.
Beveridge, in the fast-growing Mitchell shire, is about 37 kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD.
More to come
Three more suburban campuses of this type are planned – part of Melbourne Victory’s infrastructure strategy aiming to, amongst other things, support women’s and academy football initiatives (story continues below).
The four will be an hour drive from each other.
Melbourne Victory is headquartered at Gosch’s Paddock, on Olympic Boulevard, diagonally adjacent to the Richmond train station.
Late August we reported the AFL committed to an education-focused Australian Rules training facility – AFL Max – at Melbourne Airport, the suburb, in the Hume municipality.
