Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban spend $6m on penthouse
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have reportedly paid $6 million for a penthouse in Mirvac’s Latitude development at Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
The Lavender Street, Milsons Point, project is a repurpose of a 1960s office for years occupied by electronics giant Sharp.
The couple’s double-storey apartment measures 420 square metres and includes 180 degree views capturing Sydney Harbour and the CBD (image, top, of the aspect from another dwelling at the complex).
It also contains three bedrooms, three bathrooms and terraces.
Latitude
Completed in October, 2007, Latitude contains 101 apartments, a third of which are designed as studios or with one-bedroom (story continues below).
It won Mirvac an Urban Development Institute of Australia award.
The penthouse vendor, Wizard Home Loan founder Mark Bouris, paid $4.75m off the plan in 2005; it presently lets for $3500 a week.
Ms Kidman is reported to have family also in the Lower North Shore.
The couple will hold the 55 Lavender St unit alongside a Southern Highlands property.
They recently sold a Darling Point villa for $13m and a two-storey Walsh Bay apartment held for 20 months.
