Not for profit divests another Geelong property
A private investor has swooped on a Geelong site prior to the launch of an expressions of interest campaign – outlaying $2.25 million ex-GST.
The seller of 26-28 Bellerine Street was the Salvation Army which occupied it as a family and community support service office.
On 601 square metres zoned Activity Centre 1, the land holds development upside.
The improvement spreads 325 sqm.
There are also at-grade car parks (story continues below).
The property has also accommodated the Salvation Army’s Doorways program.
The deal, brokered by Colliers, comes four and a half years since the not-for-profit sold the Geelong Conference Centre in Eastern Park to BELK which later refurbished it as boutique hotel.
