Warne family list Portsea home
The family of late cricketer Shane Warne has listed the Portsea property the sportsman intended to replace with an entertainment-focused, resort-themed holiday home.
On 4023 square metres covering 65-67 Duffy Street and 89 Campbells, where it has gated access, the property is expected to collect between $5.5-$6 million following a private sale campaign.
Mr Warne paid $3.6m in August, 2020, and was in the process of pushing through the new build with the Shire of Mornington Peninsula when he died in Thailand last March, aged 52.
With a bowling alley, games room, gym, jet ski garage, library, observation deck and wine cellar, the end value of the proposed dwelling was put at over $5m.

The agents are making the redevelopment plans available to prospective purchaser.
Alternatively, the existing bluestone home, with four bedrooms and two living areas – overlooking a pool and garden – could be retained.
Any incoming buyer also has the option to subdivide and sell down the Duffy St parcel, presently a clay tennis court.
Mr Warne was famously Brighton based – buying and selling a series of homes over the past 15 years including the landmark Melville, twice – a holding owned nowadays by Equis founder David Russell and his wife, Elena.
